正式名称

Hague Conference on Private International Law.

概要

国際私法（国際民事訴訟法を含む)に関する規則の漸進的統一を目的とする政府間国際機関であり、オランダ・ハーグに事務局を有する。
2015年12月現在の加盟国（地域経済統合組織を含む）は80か国である。日本は1957年に加盟した。
ハーグ国際私法会議の最高意思決定機関は、全加盟国で構成されるCouncil on Genera lAffairs and Policy である。
日本はこれまで6つの条約を批准している。もっとも最近のものは子の奪取条約である。
